With the forecasted improvement in the weather it’s all systems go for the Forest Rally Forum in Kearney’s Castle Hotel, Cashel on Saturday 12th December at the earlier time of 2.30pm

The purpose of this forum is to have a discussion on the events which will make up the 2011 series and the changes to regulations for the upcoming year.

The Forest Rally Championship Sub Committee intend to hold an open forum in Kearney’s Castle Hotel, Cashel on Saturday 11th Dec from 5 to 7pm.
This will depend on weather conditions, if it becomes necessary to cancel the forum notice will be given by 12 noon on Saturday.

All competitors /potential compeitors are invited to come along to discuss openly what Irish Forest Rallying has to offer.

Notice Re Cancelation of Forest Forum

"As a result of the poor weather conditions on Saturday morning and the forecast for that evening and night a decision was taken to cancel the Forest Forum which was scheduled for Kearney’s Castle Hotel in Cashel for 5pm. This decision was taken at approx 12 noon. I appreciate that this was late notice but having received phone calls form a number of people concerned with the deteriorating weather conditions it was the safest course of action to take.

I set about spreading the word as mush as possible by phone to those whom had told me they were coming and asking them to spread the word, it was also posted on a rally forum and Trisha Hogan sent out a group email around 1.30

I sincerely apologise to anyone who did not get word of the cancelation and made their way to Cashel to find out there was no meeting.

We hope to reschedule this forum and will do so as soon as the weather allows."

The Forest Rally Championship Sub Committee will be holding an open forum in Kearney’s Castle Hotel, Cashel on Saturday 27th November from 5 to 7pm.

All competitors are invited to come along to discuss openly what Irish Forest Rallying has to offer.

Over the course of the next week we will issue a further press release with an agenda for the meeting and the speakers who will be in attendance.
