The concrete lanes of the Higgins family estate were wet and slippy which suited the group n 4wd cars, but the 2wd cars put on a good show and were not far behind. There were great class battles and some damage to the cars of the guys really trying.

Terry mc Gonigle came out best 4wd car overall in his group n evo Barry den mc Kenna was the best 2wd car in the Bob Adamson sunbeam
Class 1 winner Ryan Murray in his Honda Civic, his first event.
Class 2 winner Gregory Shaw in his Subaru
Class 3 winner Garth Sayers in a Nova
Class 4 winner Andrew Bustard in a Corsa
Class 5 winner Richard Mulholland in an Avener
Class 6 winner Darrel Quinn in an Escort
Class 7 winner Mervyn Wedlock in Escort
Class 8 winner Brian Dowey in a Cosworth

Envirocare sponsors Lough Neagh Rally Time Trial
The Pollution control specialists Envirocare, a member of the Kingspan group, have come in as main sponsor for the new rally time trial being run over the concrete lanes of the Higgins estate in Moneyglass Demesne, Toome on the 15th of March by Lough Neagh car and Tarmac rally marshals club ltd.
Entries for the rally time trial are coming in fast so those who haven’t yet sent their entry in should get them in soon.
More information will be posted closer to the event including the entry list.

Lough Neagh car & tarmac rally marshals club are running a rally time trial on the 15th of March in the now very popular venue at Moneyglass Demesne, Toome.

The time trial will consist of 5 timed runs around the concrete lanes inside the Higgins family estate, scrutiny will in the estate on the morning of the event from 8am to 10am, with a convoy recce of the circuit taking place before the first car goes off the line at 11am
