The Cork Motor Club run event took place in terrible conditions as it rained from start to finish. To be fair, the
weather forecast did say there would be showers, but they didn’t say they’d all be joined together.

18/08/05 Autotesting returns to Cork on Sunday the 4th of September when Cork Motor Club run round 2 of the Hewison National Autotest Championship at Vernon Mount,just outside the City. Eamonn Byrne,a winner of this event on a number of occasions in the past will compete again this year as should the rest of the Autotest regulars such as Paul Phelan,Paddy Power,Alan Clarke,Victor Beamish,Stephen Clarke,Don Giles, Liam Cashman and Michael Cashman to name a few. Check-in for the event will be at 12.00 noon with a 1.00 pm start.The event is also a counting round of the Premier Auto Parts Munster Autotest Championship and the Cork Motor Club Championship. C.O.C. Brian O Connell will run 4 tests three times and the club look forward to running another successful event that will satisfy competitors and spectators alike.
