On Sunday last the Tipperary Light Car & Motorcycle Club Ltd hosted a round of the Munster Autocross Championship in Corcoran’s Quarry Dulla. The reports for all the drivers was that it was an excellent track and that all the hard work by the club in the last few weeks was well done. David Ford and James Lucey had a great battle on the day in their specials and Billy O Connel had an excellent drive in Pat Curran's Mark 2 Escort. There was a great turn out of Tipp MC club men and also from the Munster autocross people. A big thank you to Jim O Brien and all his team who put in a great effort in the last few weeks to make it a very successful event which was enjoyed by all. PRE EVENT NEWS Tipperary Light Car & Motorcycle Club Ltd are hosting the next Munster Autocross Championship Round on Sunday 8th October 2006 in Corcoran’s Quarry Dulla, Cashel. The event will take place on the private property at Corcoran’s Quarry Dulla, Cashel, Co Tipperary, which is only a few miles from the town on the Dublin road, the event will be arrowed from Cashel. The track has undergone major work in the last few weeks which should make it an excellent challenge for both Rally cars and specials. With COC of the forestry Jim O Brien and Martin O Keeffe as his assistant the event is sure to be a well organised and well run event. The event is open to all types of Rally cars and here are the various classes Classes: Class 1: Cars up to 1400cc Class 2: Cars from 1400cc to 1650cc Class 3 Cars over 1650cc & all four wheel drives Class 4: Specials Class 5: Juniors 16 to 18 yrs holding a juniors license Entry's will be available on the day and Scrutiny check in will be held at the quarry.
