Vincent McAree wins free entry to a round of the British BTRDA Championhship 2009

Silverstone Tyres Ireland are pleased to announce Vincent McAree from Monaghan as the winner of the free entry into a round of the British BTRDA Championhship 2009 . This prize was set up by Silverstone Tyres Ireland to help young drivers who use Silverstone Tyres to experience the competition outside of Ireland.
Ray Gavin of Silverstone Tyres Ireland said “ It was a tough decision to pick a winner from the many young up and coming Drivers using Silverstone tyres this year, but Vincent has shown great speed and potential on both surfaces gravel and tarmac where he finished a class winner and second overall in this years Motorsport Ireland National Junior Championship. We at Silverstone hope that Vincent will gain some valuable experience while competing in England at the BTRDA and I look forward to working with Vincent in the future and wish him all lhe best in 2009 and beyond in his ralling career”.
On hearing the announcement Vincent McAree said “This is just fabulous, a really good prize. I can now go to England and test my speed and what I have learned from this year against the best up and coming young British drivers on their home stages. I would like to thank everyone who helped me throughout the 2008 season Vmac Silos, Ballygowan Development, Premier Welding Products, T-Met Ltd and of course Silverstone Tyres for such a great prize and giving me a great opportunity for 2009. Winner of the second prize of four free tyres was Adrian Levis from Cork who won his class in the National Junior Championship and third place winner of two free tyres was Jack Newman from Ashbourne Co. Meath in his Honda Civic. Silverstone Tyres Ireland will be supporting up and coming young drivers throughout 2009 and will be offering a range of incentives and prizes for those who want to “Take Their Class Winning Grip to the Next Level” with Silverstone Tyres.
