98% of rallies in the world are run on loose surface with all the great drivers like World Champion Tommi Makkinen, twice Champion Carlos Sainz, three times Champion, Juha Kankkunen and Colin Mc Rae all cut their rally teeth on the loose. The theory being that, if you can drive quick on the loose you can drive quick anywhere. Aspiring drivers here, in Ireland should take note and fuollow suit and compete on the loose.
This years Championship is sure to attract a much wider audience of media and spectators and bring Forestry Rallying to the fore.
