Galway Motor Club Sprint
Sunday July 2nd
Pallas Karting, Tynagh, Co. Galway
The sprint was won by Dave Fallon from Craughwell in his
Autocross special, with a fastest time of 2min and 45.8 secs.
Sylvie Mullins in a Ralt single seater was second overall
with a best time of 2min 52.37 secs.

Class 1 was won by Ray Cunningham from Casla in Athenry, driving a Mini Cooper with a best time of 3min 13.65secs. Brian Hyland from Ballinasloe took the class 2 top spot with a time of 3.10.71secs
Gerard Hodgins from Abbey won class 9a and had a best time of 3min 21.78secs.
The sprint was run on the main track at Pallas Karting and competitors were allowed a practice run before 3 timed runs.
Well done to Clerk of The Course Kieran Donoghue and his team for a very successful event.

PRE EVENT NEWS
Galway Motor Club are running a sprint in Pallas Karting on this Sunday July 2nd. The event is sponsored by Flowerhill Equestrian Centre. Kieran Donoghue will be the COC and it is intended to have one practice run and 3 timed runs, conditions permitting. It is an open event run over a 1500m tarmac circuit.
Mechanical Scrutiny will take place from 7.30am to 9.30am on Sunday July 2nd at Pallas Karting.
Paper Scrutiny will take place in the clubhouse immediately after completing mechanical scrutiny.
Divers briefing will take place at 9.45am, with practice run at 10.15am and the first timed run at 11.00am.
