Tom HOLTON is returning to french tarmac action
Enfields Tom Holton makes a welcome return to french rallying on this months Rallye des Routes du Nord, the Northern France season opener based in Armentières.
Holton will make an appearance in his usual ex-Kankkunen Toyota Celica ST 205 and will have local Frenchman Bruno Brissart in the co-drivers seat. This will be Toms first outing in France since he took 2nd o/a on the 2003 Rallye Charlemagne.

PRELIMINARY DETAILS
The 2006 Rallye des Routes du Nord (Northern France) will take place on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of February. Once again, the entry will attract crews from all counties of France and a healthy number of strong contenders from abroad to decide the outcome of this prestigious event.

The 2 days-event will stay closer to the hosting town Armentières using a 4x2 stage format each day and will offer 170 kilometers of flat-out action over closed public roads, with centralised servicing after every four stages.

Scrutiny will take place between 18.00 and 22.00 hrs on Friday night and the first competing car will be flagged off from the start-ramp at 11.00 hrs on the Saturday morning with the winner due at the finish ramp in Armentières at 15.54 hrs on the Sunday.
