Trevor Moore goes Mountune Racing
Belfasts Trevor Moore took delivery of his new Mountune Racing Duratec engine last month and launched it at the Loughside Quarry Rally Time Trial on Saturday last, Oct. 8th.
Using the event as a testing of the new engine, Mountune had two members of staff on site to oversee the test, Sales Co-ordinator Derek Noonan and engineer Rob Denny. Trevor said "I have had Mountune power in the past and had many overall wins in an Escort Cosworth however when I decided to go rear wheel drive the new Mountune Duratec was the obvious choice".
He also went on to say," the driveability is excellent right throughout the power band and it has excellent torque from low down".
Mountune's Derek Noonan added "We are delighted to have a driver of Trevor's calibre onboard and have no doubt that he will have many successes with his new engine. The service provided by Mountune is second to none and our results speak for themselves from winning rounds of the World Rally Championship to single stage clubman events".
Trevor will tackle his first proper event on the Rally of the Glens Antrim Stages (formerly the Toshiba Rally) on 5th November.
