With just days remaining until the final round of the inaugural Rory Galligan Rally Irish 205 Challenge the organisers are delighted to announce details of the 2005 championship.
The first season of the championship, which ran through the Autumn and Winter, was without doubt a huge success and perfect for crews who want competitive rallying at a low cost.
The second year of the series will include four tarmac rounds and two gravel rounds and kicks off on April 10th with the Midland Multi Stage Rally. This is followed by Munster Moonraker Forestry Rally, Tipperary Single Stage, Monaghan Forestry Stages Rally, ALMC Multi Stage Rally and finishes with a real test for crews on the two day Cork “20” in October.
Not only does the championship provide low cost, competitive rallying for competitors, registration also includes, parts and tyres from a truck set up at each event, training days provided by Rory Galligan and a dedicated team of organisers at every round.
After enjoying a fantastic first season, the 2005 Irish 205 Challenge looks set to be a real cracker.
