Round 2 - 2005 V-MAC Silo’s Autocross Championship
Mickey Conlon’s Mini managed to beat all the opposition in Sunday’s Cavan Loose Surface Autocross at Latton, the second round of the V Mac Silos/McAree Engineering Championship. His best two runs were almost 4s quicker than Daniel McKenna’s Escort, with the rallycross Metro of Joe Cahill just holding off David Kerr’s Peugeot 205 for third place.

Pat Higgins looked set for another win when he was easily quickest on the opening run, but his Nova’s gearbox began acting up and although he finished out the day, he slipped off the leaderboard.
