McGarrity and O'Gorman test Skoda Fabia WRC for 2005

McGarrity & O'Gorman will start the defence of their tarmac title in Galway International with the ex-Works Car. McGarrity tested the car used by Rinaldo 'Dindo' Capello to win the recent Monza Rallye. The car is now being rebuild before being delivered to DMG's workshop in mid January, with a 2nd car arriving a week later.

"There will be a lot of work to set the car up for Irish Tarmac, but we will have the support of 3 Engineers from Skoda on each rally next year. I was very impressed with the car, especially the steering wheel mounted gear-change", McGarrity told irish-rallying.com

The destination of the 2nd car will not be know until the new year, but DMG are hopeful that the Fabia will be in competition on the British Rally Championship

DMG are linking up with John Mulholland Motors Ltd, Randalstown for his 2005 campaign. Managing Director is looking forward to seeing the Fabia WRC on the Tarmac Championship.
