The duo normally known as “JandJrallysport Team”, who have competed in the Ford Focus championship for the past two years are determined to progress in the sport, with both of them 24 years of age they see this year as being a very important one in terms of gaining experience.
The Pirelli Tarmac Championship is still a target for them this year but they had to pull their entry for the first round in Galway at the last minute to help finance their entry into the Evo Challenge. “I hope to use the Sunseeker to learn the car and gain valuable experience against very good opposition. It is a big step for me, with a new car and different conditions it will make it a tough event, but there is nothing like a good challenge” said John.
Following the event John will head over to Norway where he will train in John Haugland’s rally school, which he received when he was awarded the Fisher Foundation Award.
