Donegal's "Golden Mile" Hillclimb set for September!!

Donegal Motor Club has just announced brief details of it's Inishowen based
National Championship Hillclimb at Glentogher, a few miles from Carndonagh,
in Inishowen.
Clerk of the Course for the event, Declan Mc Cay announced details for the
week-end of 7th & 8th of September.

The week-end of speed, will host rounds of the MotorSport Ireland, Hillclimb Championship, the Frank Keane Trophy, and this will also qualify as rounds of the Oil Burner Trading Donegal Motor Club Championship.
The number of entries for the event are expected to be in high demand from
all across the country, and regulations are now available from:
Joan Reid,
Illistrin,
Letterkenny,
Co. Donegal,
closing on Friday 30th August 2002.
Internet users can log on to www.donegalmotorclub.com for information relating to the event.
The event will consist of a "double header format", with two separate hillclimbs taking place, one on Saturday 7th and repeated again on Sunday 8th of September.
Roads will be closing for the competition each day @ 9.00 a.m. with the first practice runs starting at 10.30 a.m.
