On the limit sports will be produced by Michael Bracken, who is based in Mullingar and is well known to rally fans from his previous motor sport coverage.
TG4 Sports Editor Rónán Ó Coisdealbha says the new series fits in well with TG4's sport policy. "Our schedule aims to give the whole breadth of Irish sport a television platform," he said "and we have been gratified by the response to our previous coverage of motor sport". Rónán is confident that the new series will serve the existing large following for rallying in Ireland and will succeed in drawing others.
Producer Michael Bracken is also looking forward to the new challenge. "It is important that Irish tv viewers have access to action from the Irish rally scene and motorsport action from around the country," he said " and I am delighted that TG4 has come on board to allow us to do this." Mr Bracken says that the new programme will be action-driven and cover a wide range of competitions and events.
