Yet another different winning pair, the third in as many events, took the honours in Saturday night’s Cork Startrek Navigation Trial at Freemount, a round of the Executive Logistics National Championship and the season opener for the P J O’Hea Munster series. 17 year old Owen Murphy, already a winner in autocrossing, was navigated by expert Diarmuid O’Donovan to top place at the wheel of a Rover 216 at the end of a short but slippery 70 mile route in north-west Cork.
