Eamonn Boland's fifth Wexford Rally was as comprehensive a triumph as his most recent one previously in 2000, and sees him joining Ger Buckley and Stephen Murphy as a five-time winner.

On The Limit Sports time of broadcast has been changed to 8 pm from this tuesday night until the end of August
The repeat slot shall remain the same - every Saturday morning at 11:30am.

This Tuesday night (28 May) is the last round of Formula Rally from England
Next Tuesday (4 Jun) I am hoping to show the British Championship or else the Peugeot 206 Championship
The carlow rally will be shown on the 11th Jun at 8 pm

After a challenging start to the Pirelli British Rally Championship (PBRC), the Peugeot 206 Super 1600 (S1600) official works team have set their sights high for Wrexham Rally of Wales for the second round of the Championship. Starting in Wrexham, Justin Dale will leave the line at 17.02 with Rory Galligan leaving 4th at 17.04.

A new showcase for top Irish rally action and other motorsport comes to the TG4 screens from April 2. The 2002 Dunlop National Rally Championship will form a major part of the new series which will run on TG4 every week till November.

The first round of the Northern Ireland Rally Championship was kicked off yesterday morning with last years winner and current champion Denis Biggerstaff. He suffered with some engine problems on that first stage and dropped 20 seconds to the others. Owen Lamont was also disappointed as although he was 2nd quickest over the first stage, he felt that he should have capitalised more on those who either hadn't woke up yet or suffered problems.

DUNLOP NATIONAL STAGE RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP OPENS IN MAYO

The 2002 Dunlop National Stage Rally Championship opens with the Breaffy House Hotel Mayo Stages Rally on March 10th next. From there, the 10 Round Championship takes in the tight and twisty roads of Kerry and Monaghan in the Spring and on to the fast flowing stages of Cavan and Sligo in the Summer. Come September, it's the tour of the Burren in County Clare. The Series culminates in Cork as the season draws to a climax in Skibbereen.

Rory Galligan/Paul Nagle were 6th overall and 1st 106 Cup car, from Ryan Champion. Eamonn Boland/Anthony Nester were 5th, despite the WRC Impreza running on 3 cylinders all rally due to bent valves.

Garry Jennings/James O'Brien finished 12 o/a, 5th 106 Cup, with the Donegal/Derry crew of Shaun Gallagher/Brendan Duggan 8th 106. Adrian McElveney/Cian Curley from Monaghan retired yesterday. No sign of Kris Meeke/Gordan Noble after the last stage.
