Cavan Stages Rally (28 May 06) - Launch Day - 21 May 06

With the 2006 Hotel Kilmore Cavan Stages Rally fast approaching Cavan Motor Club will once again run a Launch Show in the Hotel and display of Rally Cars in the Car park to give residents of the Rally Route and enthusiasts alike what goes into creating a stages rally in 2006.

A selection of the Cavan Motor Club members Cars that are taking part in the event will be on display including the current Dunlop National Championship leading car, Patrick Elliott’s Subaru Impreza WRC S10. Also on display outside the hotel will be some of the sportier models from the Ford range marketed by Cathal O’Rielly from Jackson’s Garage Cavan.

Inside the Hotel there will be displays by all the associate sponsors of the rally, the staff of Pitlane Motorsport Accessories shop will have a full range of their Motorsport, Tuning and Car Care Products including an extensive range of Motorsport DVD’s. Gary Waugh from Hankook Motorsport Tyres will be on hand will a sample of Tyres to discuss the benefits of Hankook Tyres with Competitors in advance of the rally.

Once again, visitors can experience the trill of driving a Rally car at speed with the Playstation simulator at the Pitlane Stand. The magnificent trophies from Cavan Crystal, which will be awarded to the winner of this year’s event, will also be on display in the hotel.

The show gets underway at 2 pm until 5pm and anyone with an interest in Motorsport should come along and meet the team behind the 2006 Hotel Kilmore Cavan Stages Rally.
