Liam Caplis 1977 - 2006

The sad and unexpected death of Liam Caplis occurred last week, Liam had been a Limerick Motor club member for many years now and a true Rally fan.

Frank Meagher been is Rally Idol for many years. Liam navigated with his uncle Johnny Caplis for the past few years in a Class 1 Suzuki Swift and won class 1 in the Top Part West Coast Rally Championship 2003.
Previous to this Liam was a talented Driver in which he competed in many events through his rallying career starting in "99".

I had the privilege of navigating for Liam on his 1st event in Clare 1999,which we won 3rd in class 16.
Our sympathies are with his family and wide circle of friends on this sad time.

The Memories will live on for a Good Mate and a True sportsman.
