07/07/05
Regulations are now available for the Limerick Hillclimbs on the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
A different hill is being used each day.

The Saturday hill is on the main road between the Old Mill and Carrigkerry. The road is wide with an excellent surface and a fair to medium gradient. It has fast and flowing corners and a distance of just over one mile and was used for the first time in 2004.

On the Sunday the venue being used is Sugar Hill which will be familiar to many from 2004 and other years. The surface is good and there is a variety of corners and straights. A hill that is loved by hillclimb and rally competitors alike, it is sure to provide a lot of entertainment.

Prize-giving on Saturday will be in the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare following a meal which will take the form of a barbecue, weather permitting. On Sunday the prize giving will take place in the paddock at the hill to facilitate competitors.

Double drives will be accommodated

Timetable
Mechanical and documentation scrutiny will be from 8am to 10am on both days, in the paddock, on the hill. Scrutiny will also be available on the Friday evening from 7.30p.m to 10pm at Woodlands House Hotel, Adare.

All competition cars must be in the paddock by 9:30am on both days.

Practice will begin at 11:30 on both Saturday and Sunday.
