The Hotel Kilmore Cavan Stages Rally 2005 Launch
On Sunday 22nd of May next Cavan Motor Club are holding a launch of their forthcoming Hotel Kilmore Cavan Stages Rally which takes place of the following Sunday the 29th. Some of the best-known local drivers will have their cars on show and will be available to talk about the cars and their preparations for the biggest event in the Club calendar.

The 2005 Hotel Kilmore Cavan Stages Rally will be held over 3 stages in the Killinkere, New Inn and Tunnyduff area’s of the county with centralised Servicing along the Main N3 Dublin Road at Lisgrey outside Virginia. The first car leaves the Hotel Kilmore at 11:45am and returns at 19:35pm.

The rally is once again part of the Dunlop National Rally Championship and with two rounds completed in Mayo and Kerry; Cavan’s Patrick Elliott has a slender one-point lead in the series. Patrick will have his James Elliott Construction Subaru Impreza WRC on display at the Hotel. Reigning National Champion Niall Maguire has also said he will make every effort to attend with his Championship winning Impreza.

The lanuch will take place between 3pm and 7pm with display stands in the Sheelin Suite and the Cars on Display outside the Hotel.
