Ray took delivery of the car this week, and after a test session pronounced himself more then happy with the car. We are very happy with the final set up we achieved with the car, Ray also commented that the technology in the car was far superior to the 99 Subaru he drove last season, Ray also tested a range of Dunlop tyres and was very impressed with the new compounds particularly the x22 tyre.

As usual in the co drivers seat will be Andrew Purcell ,Andrew saying "its just great to be sitting in a car of this calibre". M-Sport technician Ian Davies was at the test and was more than happy with the final set up.

Dunlop also announced that they were on board in a serious manor this year, this was evident when the well established Dunlop Motorsport Truck arrived at the test. Present at the test were Nigel Green of Dunlop Ireland and Graham Shuter Motorsport sales Manager of Dunlop Europe. Nigel said we?ve learned a lot here to day, we tried a lot of tyres and new compounds and are very happy, we have acquired valuable information that will be of great help to the team in the future.

Tom Gaghan Motorsport will run the car for the year, Tom is well known in rally circles from his days of working with Colin McRae , running the late Frank Meagher and in later years Austin McHale. It is testimony to his expertise that he is the only company in Ireland running the new WRC Focus..

The team are planning The Galway International and the Laois Stages Rally as a shakedown before the National Rally Championship gets going on the 13th of March with the Mayo Stages Rally (Round 1 - 2005 Dunlop National Rally Championship).
