Carrick on Suir Sprint - 14 Nov 04Posted: November 22, 2004 9:36 PM - 3337 Hits Former Dunlop Hillclimb champion Michael Roche was in a class of his own in Carrick-on-Suir MC's out of season Sprint at the Pink Rock, near New Ross on Sunday. His GM engined Delta T81 set the pace on the first run and he remained unchallenged all day, holding a clear 2.7s margin over Peter Dwyer's Ford powered T85 after five attempts at the short course. David James' quick rally Escort was best of the saloons in fourth overall, but he was pushed hard by the Sunny F2 of Andrew Purcell which was only 0.13s down at the end.
