Posted: December 11, 2002 8:29 AM They then went to Monaghan to win the class but sadly only got to do one stage due to the tragic loss of a fellow competitor. Next to Cavan but on stage four broke a engine mountain at the start of the stage and in the middle of the stage the car cut out but evetually got going again to finish only 4th in the class. Had a great day in Newry to finish with a class win. Then Sligo, were driving on the door handles all day and had a twelve second lead going in to the last stage and blew it all away when they rolled the car. Final event the harvest and took it easy because of the driving condition's and won their class again to give them enough points to finish 3rd overall in the border championship.
