Rory Galligan - Scottish Rally Preview

The town of Dumfries in South West Scotland will play host to the Scottish Rally this weekend. The rally boasts an impressive entry, with top formula rally competitors and many one make series including the Ford Ka Championship, the Polo Challenge and the Peugeot Super 106 Cup.

The 106 championship will contest both days of this tough event, with over 105 stage miles. The rally will undoubtedly be a test of the crews commitment, speed and stamina. The Scottish stages are traditionally very fast but also very rough, so this will not only challenge driver and co-driver but will also test the strength and reliability of the Peugeot 106.

Billy Coleman award winner, Rory Galligan, who is lying 3rd in the championship, realises that this event is crucial to his championship challenge. With only three events left it is vital that he finishes well. However he is relishing the opportunity to show his immense talent and speed on the famous Scottish stages such as AE, Twiglees and Castle O'er.

On this event Rory will be partnered by top Irish co- driver, Paul Nagle.
