Kingdom Fast Fit Autotest Championship

A knocked pylon, followed by a maximun time on tests 8 & 9 cost Brendan Farmer the win to Michael Cashman at Killarney and District Motor Club's Autotest held in Milltown Mart.

2 tests run 3 times in each direction gave the 17 competitors 12 very enjoyable tests, the only complaint being of too much grip!

Farmer from Tralee driving his 1300 cc Mini Saloon took 5 of the first 6 tests to lead Michael Cashman by just over 3 seconds. However Farmer\'s 2 mistakes and Cashman\'s clean sweep of fastest times on the last 6 tests, gave Cashman the win.
A brilliant performance from Don Giles gave the Cork man 3rd overall and a Class E win in his Honda Civic. Giles just got the better of Alan Clark from Bandon in his Mini Special.

In class D Conor Falvey from Rathmore was beaten by the MG Midget of Tim Faulkner. Mark Falvey, sharing the Toyota engined Mk I with his Father, ran out the easy winner of the Novice class, with Mike Buckley in a Starlet, best KDMC driver.
