The TROA Executive held an emergency meeting ( Monday 12th June) to discuss the 2000 calendar in the wake of the unavoidable cancellation of the Galway based West 2000 rally, which was to have been held 22/23 July

The Executive considered a range of options in detail but for a number of reasons were unable to reach a final decision.

Further clarification is being sought on several points and it is then intended to forward any subsequent decision to Motorsport Ireland for approval.

TROA are concious that competitors and organisers both require early clarification of this matter and the Executive are dealing with it as a matter of some urgency.

The decision of the Executive will be issued as soon as it has been possible to confirm the final proposals.
