Richard recorded a time of 3.09.81 on his first run despite a misfire and improved on his time by only 1 second on his second run. Turner recorded his best time of 3.12.21 on his second run, having a slight off track excursion on his first run. The fastest saloon on the day was Jimmy Devane who finished third overall just 12 hundreths of a second ahead of fourth placed man Joe Shinnors. Class winners were Paddy o’ Connor, Jimmy Devane, Gerard o’ Shea, Michael Lenihan, Joe Shinnors and Brian Turner. The next round of the Championship will take place on June 18th.
