This years winner will receive a factory supported works drive on the 2001 British Rally Championship. The prize consists of the loan of the works 106 Maxi for the year, a mechanic on event to help look after it, as well as a £25,000 allowance to run the car on event. Winner of the final round of the 1999 106 championship, Rory Galligan has hopefully lost his bad luck gremlins with the turn of the century and will face big opposition from Dubliner Max McKillen and Seamus Donnelly from Magherafelt, both of whom will be keen to continue the good runs both drivers had on selected rounds of the national forestry championship. Latecomers to the 2000 championship include the Doyle Brothers Mark and Rory after a quite \'99 season.Driver Co-driver Paul Crossen (Co. Down) Peter Martin (Co. Antrim) Seamus Donnelly (Co.
