The 1999 Jerry Murphy Tyres Munster Autocross Championship was once again dominated by the popular Percy brothers from Cloughjordan, Co.Tipperary.

Driving his trusty Ford Special, Richard Percy was victorious in six successive autocrosses in the nine round series and thus he won his first Munster Autocross title. Runner up was last years champion Gordon Percy in the free revving Kawasaki Special. Gordon won the three remaining races of the year. Killarneys Ger Brennan finished third in the powerful V8 Chevvy Special. The first ever award for fastest saloon was claimed by Joe Shinnors in a Ford Escort ahead of Austin Shinnors in a Vauxhall Nova. The Limerick cousins were fourth and fifth respectively. The ladies awars was won by Breda Pigott in the Lancia Delta.
