At least three local crews are in line for class honours with Kiltimagh brothers Paul and Brian Cleary currently leading Class 5 in their Nissan Micra .3 GX while Foxford=92s James McGreal and Chris Mitchell continue to top Class 14B in a Nissan Sunny GTi-R. Vying for an overall win will be newly crowned US Pro Rally champion, Noel Lawler, returning home to compete in a hired Group A Subaru Impreza prepared by Derek McGarrity of R Sport. Before heading for the =91hills of Donegal=92 the Bekan native officially launched Mayo & District Motorsport Club, the new name for Ballina Motor Club at an inauguration ceremony held in the D=92Alton Inn Hotel, Claremorris.
