This event is a CHARITY show day with the proceeds being donated to two very worthy causes;-
(1) THE BANDON HYPERBARIC OXYGEN CENTRE, (www.bhoc.ie).
(2) CO-ACTION Clonakilty, (www.coaction.ie).

The Club are pleased to announce that The 2007 Billy Coleman Award Winner will be in attendance with his Rallycar, and maybe Billy himself might even pay a visit.

This event brings together all aspects of motor sport from the low budget racing to the high profile WRC machinery, the cherished classic to the rare one-offs,

We are very pleased with the response that we have received so far.
Some of the groups/clubs that have confirmed attendance are;- Various Rally cars,
Classics, Bikes, Tractors , Trucks, etc..
West Cork Vintage club,
Leap Vintage club,
Muskerry Vintage club,
The Test Trial group,
Cork Auto-grass club,
VAGE club,
VAUXHALL/OPEL club,
American Car club,
South Coasters car club
Mini Owners club.
Ford owners club.
Toyota Enthusiasts,
Subaru Owners,
Irish Rotary club,

As there is NO ENTRY FEE FOR EXHIBITITORS,
They are asked to give a GENEROUS DONATION at the gate.
PUBLIC ADMISSION is:- €5.00 per Adult, €15.00 per Family.

The Showgrounds will be open to exhibitors from 7.30am and will be open to the Public at 12 noon. There is a raffle for the Exhibitors on their admittance form, The PRIZE is a "WEEKEND FOR TWO" in any one of The Quality Hotels, kindly sponsored by the Quality Hotel Group. There are also some runner up prizes.

There will be something of interest for all ages on the day, numerous unusual competitions, Kiddie attractions, plus a DOG SHOW. "THE BIG MATCH WILL BE SHOWN LIVE" There will be live music. A Raffle will be held with prizes still being donated and much more.

We are hoping to have between 500 and 600 exhibits on the day. For the committee to utilise and organise space to the best of our ability we would appreciate it if exhibitors would contact one of the following contact numbers a few days before the show, for further details and information contact:-

If you have any Motorised Vehicle of interest, or know of someone who has we would love to have it in our show. We ask all Motor Clubs and enthusiasts to support us in our efforts.

We would also like to see those of you that don't have an exhibit on the day and bring a few friends, it's all to support Charity and we can guarantee a good days entertainment.

Details
Details of the forthcoming "CHARITY MOTOR SHOW" which has been RESCHEDULED for SUNDAY 16th SEPTEMBER 2007, in the Showgrounds, Clonakilty, Co.Cork. at @ 12 noon.

This event is a CHARITY show day with the proceeds being donated to two very worthy causes;-
(1) THE BANDON HYPERBARIC OXYGEN CENTRE, (www.bhoc.ie).

This event brings together all aspects of motor sport from the test trial people to autograss, autocross, hotrod, forestry cars, tarmac rally cars, night navigation cars, vintage, veteran, classic motors, motorcycles, trucks, tractors and all unusual and other forms of transport.

The insurance for the event has been kindly sponsored by Motorsport Ireland at no cost to the organisers. For this we are most grateful.

There are also some runner up prizes.

Skibbereen & District car Club motor show charity day has been rescheduled for Sunday 16 Sept

The Clublooking for any motorsport,interesting,Exotic cars.Also we are looking for trucks,Motorbikes,Vintage veichles such as cars,Tractors etc.

The two charities we are supporting this year are The Bandon Hyperbaric Oxygen Centre and Co-Action Clonakilty.A press release will be issued shortly.

Skibbereen & District Car Club are holding a Motor Show charity Day on Sunday 5th August 2007 in Clonakilty Show Grounds.


All proceeds on the day will go to: Co-Action Clonakilty & Bandon Hyperbaric Chamber.

The show will consist of rally cars, autotest cars, hotrod, autograss & vintage.
Various car clubs will be in attendance.

Also included for this year are trucks, motorbikes and vintage tractors.
