The opening two days, exclusively for motorsport trade visitors, promise to be the biggest and best to date. Damon Hill, as President of the BRDC, will officially open the show at 10.00am on the Autosport Central Stage; he will be joined by the Rt Hon Richard Caborn, Minister for Sport. Autosport Engineering will feature more than 300 stands, displaying the best of British expertise alongside the best international exhibitors. British motorsport fans will get their first chance to view the record-breaking JCB Dieselmax, which will be the centrepiece of the MIA stand. David Richards, Chairman of Prodrive, will be returning to the show, where his company will display to visitors for the first time a stunning range of products for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Subaru will launch the special edition Impreza WRX STI, to be unveiled in memory of Britain's last World Rally Champion, Richard Burns. Vauxhall will unveil the new Vectra, with which it will contest the 2007 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, while SEAT Sport UK will launch its all-new Leon Cupra, which is set to make its debut in the 2007 SEAT Cupra Championship. Completing the line-up of manufacturer exhibitors are - among others - Mitsubishi, Toyota, Renault, FIAT, Citroen and Caterham. Why not take some time out on the evening of Saturday 13 January and relax with some of the biggest names in Le Mans history? By popular demand, we have increased the capacity of the Le Mans Gala Dinner - which takes place at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham - with the offer of 200 more places. Sit back and enjoy the enthusiastic commentary of John Hindhaugh as he chats to the likes of Allan McNish, David Brabham, Derek Bell, Derek Warwick, Guy Smith, Johnny Herbert, Johnny Mowlen, Mark Blundell and Jackie Oliver. You will also hear from team owners such as Ray Mallock and Hugh Chamberlain.
