Round 4 - 2004-05 Executive Logistics National Night Navigation Championship Posted: December 1, 2004 11:41 AM At the end, their Mazda just beat the Golf of regular title contenders Ray and Stephen O’Neill, with semi-expert winners Alan and George Shinnors getting the better of a tie for third, ahead of Ger O’Connell and Denis O’Donovan. Defending National champion driver Derek Coleman, now navigated by Lee Annett, won the novice class in ninth overall, while Brendan O’Sullivan/Kevin Flynn were best of the Beginners. Ger Gowen and Paul Phelan, in a borrowed Rover 216, were the only crew still clean at the petrol halt, but they were later excluded from third place for being towed out of a muddy field on the route, although that section was scrubbed.
