Ollie has so far been very unlucky since the purchase of his first World Rally Car suffering continous gear selection problems. Following a disastrous run on his home event the Circuit of Munster Kenny McKinstry and his team went to work to rectify the ongoing problem and following many hours both working and driving the car the problem was finally traced to a breakage within the wiring loom.
Now with the problem sorted Ollie plans to compete on this weekends event and hopefully put his championship back on track following retirement on the first round and missing the second due to business commitments.

The event which the O' Donovan team competed on last year will be run over two days with a total of 25 stages and 240 stage kms. Number 1 on the road is current championship leader Eric Weavers in the ex Johnny Milner Corolla WRC, he will be followed by 2003 Champion Jan de Winkle in the works supported Renault Clio Super 1600. Ollie and regular navigator David Moynihan will start at number 6 in the Kumho supported Subaru.
Other Irish entries in the event include Tom Holton who will start at number 12 in the Profile Systems Celica, Tom will be partnered by the experienced Sean Walsh and will be another hoping for better luck following some recent retirements due to mechanical meladies. Grahan Quinn, Sebastien Stackpool & Joe Curran make up the Irish GPN contingent. The event is based in Roosendaal 60km east of Amsterdam
