The rally was the first round of the Kumho National Rally Championship and the Mitsubishi Ralliart Challenge.

The pair finished in second place in the challenge from a starting line up of 18 registered drivers.

‘We lost approximately 45 seconds throughout the morning with various problems and at the end of the day we lost first place by around 28 seconds, so we were well on the pace’, Crealey said.

Crealey was driving a brand new Lancer Evolution 7 run by ADR Motorsport of Chesterfield.

‘We are disappointed not to have won on the day but second place in the championship at this stage isn’t a bad start’, Crealey said.

The next round of the Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution Challenge is the Astra Stages in North Wales in April.
