Garry Jennings tries out new 206 S1600

Garry Jennings had his first test session in the works Peugeot 206 S1600 car yesterday at the Mira test centre and came away well impressed with his new mount for this season.

With conditions slightly above freezing point he spent four hours hurling the car the car around circuit 1 and 2 at a pace he described to me afterwards as safe or so, my opinion being, if I never sit in the car with him again it will be to soon, however with only one or two moments which Garry claimed were only to keep everyones blood from freezing everyone from Peugeot Sport were well impressed with how quickly Garry adapted to the car.

Thanks to all from Peugeot Sport who braved the elements on the day and also to Justin Dale who was on hand to offer any help he could despite the fact he is still nursing broken ribs.

Hopefully all the ongoing speculation on who the co-driver is going to be will be released very soon.
