Junior World Championship for MeekePosted: January 7, 2003 11:10 AM - 7899 Hits
Posted: January 7, 2003 11:10 AM Team Palmer from England will run the operation, with the support and ongoing development from Opel in Germany. Another change for the Monte Carlo Rally is a switch of co-drivers. "Chris Patterson has tested with Colin before, and with his wealth of experience has been drafted in to help. My regular co-driver, Glenn Patterson (from Dungannon) will travel to Monte Carlo to learn the event, so I think it's in everyone's benefit in the long term. The objective is simple for the young Ulsterman. "Hopefully this is part of a two year programme. We have never had the benefit of bringing our own pace notes to an event before, and this year will be no exception. For that reason, we will have to concentrate on finishing each and every round, and learn as much as possible about the car and the rallies."Rallye Monte Carlo 22-26 January Rally of Turkey 26 February-2 March Acropolis Rally 4-8 June Rally Finland 6-10 August Rallye Sanremo 1-5 October Rallye Catalunya 22-26 October Rally GB 5-9 NovemberYou can follow Kris's progress throughout the year at www.krismeeke.com
