Motorsport Ireland are pleased to announce that the TROA will have a seat at the Motorsport Ireland Rallies Committee and an Motorsport Ireland Representative will be appointed to the TROA Executive Committee.

Cecil Sparks, Chairman MI Commission stated "These new arrangements will produce consistency in the organisation of events and Championships which will ultimately benefit competitors, sponsors and the sport."

Commenting on the new arrangements Tom Walsh, TROA Chairman, stated, "We are all looking forward to the return of rallying following the problems of FMD and we are pleased that the premier Rally Championship has been endorsed by both governing bodies."
