Clonakilty Charity Motor Show - 22 July 01

Skibbereen & District Motor Club are holding a Motor Show Charity Day in Clonakilty Show grounds on Sunday 22nd July 2001.

A great family day out is promised with lots of activites as well as an amazing line-up cars new & old, rally, competition, vintage cars, motorbikes etc.

Clubs include, Ford RS, Mini, Subaru Owners club, Cortina owners club
Other cars include Ferraris, Porsches, Lotus etc etc.

Competitions include: Play Station \"Single stage\" shoot off (Colin McRae 1.0), guess the make and model of the crushed car, guess the size of tyre to name but a few.

Clubs include, Ford RS, Mini, Subaru Owners club, Cortina owners club
Other cars include Ferraris, Porsches, Lotus etc etc.


Entertainment for the young (and not so young!) will include \"bouncy castles\" etc.

Funds raised will be donated to

  • The Leukemia Fund of the Mercy Hospital Cork
  • West Cork Irish Red Cross
  • West Cork Civil Defence.

    Rally Cars, Customised Vehicles, Motorbikes & Unique or Vehicles of Particular interest are still welcome.

    Anyone bringing a car etc is asked to be in place by 12 noon at the showgrounds.
