Loose Surface Autocross, organised by Mayo and District Motorsport club will be held in Harringtons quarry, Kilkelly Co. Mayo (beside Knock airport)

Midland/Birr Autocross Challenge, Ballinahown, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, 21/22nd July 2001.

Entries are now closed for the event with a maximum entry received along with a reserve list. There is a very strong entry with the strongest challenges coming from the likes of Gordon Percy, Cathal Hogan, Ger Brennan, Ian Byrne and Chris Behan plus Eoin Woods.

Cathal Hogan from Ballinasloe took the honours on both Saturday and Sunday in the Galway Motor Club rounds of the Gordon Percy Engine Centre National Autocross championship at Ballinasloe on Saturday and Sunday, August 14th/15th, 1999.
