Connacht Autocross (LS) - 2 Oct 16

Event Cancelled

"Due to the low number of entries confirmed, Connacht Motor Club unfortunately has absolutely no alternative but to cancel its loose surface autocross planned for Sunday next October 2nd.
The club wishes to apologise to those who had already entered and thank them for their support.
Without definite numbers it was decided unfair to expect marshals and officials commit and the club incur further costs without the confidence of a reasonable starters list.

They also want to sincerely thank Tommy Ward and Midland Motor Club for their support and wish them well with their November 6th event."

Connacht runs out of Ballyfeeney track

Connacht Motor Club are delighted to be granted access to the alternative venue of the purpose built Ballyfeeney track for its October 2nd Loose Surface Autocross event. The self contained venue frequently used by the Midland Club contains an array of testing flowing sections securely banked around the extremities of the track which also lends itself to safe viewing from the raised spectator area.

With a provision for a total of ten classes, every attempt to appeal to a broad spectrum of competitors, including buggies and juniors, has been attempted. Entry numbers are strictly restricted to a maximum of 50. In the absence of the availability of our former venue, competitors are asked to support our efforts to maintain our loose surface date’s calendar.

Joe Dolan, Clerk of the Course wishes to sincerely acknowledge the support and encouragement received from both, Tommy Ward venue owner and the Midland Motor Club in planning for this event and asked that entrants remained loyal to club organised events.

Regs are available and a text entry facility is available.
