5 Star Catering National Loose Autocross Championship

Next Sunday June 28th the Midland Motor Club hosts a loose autocross-round three of the 5 Star Catering National Loose Autocross Championship 2015. The event takes place at the popular pit in Ballyfeeney Rock Scramogue Co. Roscommon. Further details are available from the Midlands Motor Club.

After two rounds of the National Loose Autocross Autocross Championship -Clare and Munster-the championship leader-board is tied at the top. Galway driver Walter Bourke (Escort MK2) is level on 20 points with Cork's James Lucey (Subaru Special), while Milstreet's Denis O'Brien (Nova) lies third with 19 points. Emphasising the close nature of the racing Fourth and fifth places are also level with Letterkenny man Mac Walsh (Semog Buggy) and Padraig Egan (Semog Buggy) on 18 points. Egan from Sixmilebridge Co.Clare is the current Munster Autocross Champion.

The Midlands Autocross is also Round 5 of the Midland Motor Club Championship
