"It is with regret that Mid Antrim Motor Club announce the cancellation of the Ballycastle Tarmac Stages Rally. With only 16 entries received as of tonight and no line of sight to getting the required minimum of 30 the event is not financially viable for the club to run.

I wish to thank all competitors who submitted an entry for your continued support of the club."

Ballycastle is back!

Rallying returns to the County Antrim forests after a lengthy lay off with the Carey Floorcare Equipment Ballycastle Forest Stages on Saturday 5th April 2014.

Mid Antrim Motor Club will be running a single venue tarmac event held entirely within Ballycastle forest with a total of 16 stages miles and no road miles. Scrutiny and service will all be in the forest itself meaning competitors do not need road tax or insurance to compete, keeping costs to a minimum. There will be 8 stages throughout the day with service after each stage. Scrutiny will be on the morning of the event and pacenotes will be available to purchase with competitors able to complete a low speed convoy recce in rally cars on the morning of the event.
