Entries are still open for the Carlow Autocross, Sunday August 28th; this year sees a change of venue for the event as it moves to Rathcrogue, Carlow.
This year’s event will be counting round 9 of the D&B Windows sponsored National Autocross Championship, counting round 5 of the Midget Car Racing Club Championship and it has also been added as an extra round to the Carlow Club Championship.
The organisers have secured a very large field for this year’s event leaving them plenty of scope for laying out the track.
Clerk of the Course Fiona Driver who was once a regular competitor at autocross events states that they plan to use approximately 2.5 km of track for the event giving the competitors value for money and spectators plenty of viewing.
The event will take place on private property at Rathcrogue by the kind permission of Peter Egan, and will be arrowed from Junction 5 on the Killcullen to Waterford motorway and on the main Carlow to Rosslare road.
This event is sure to provide plenty of action for all motorsport enthusiasts and is also a great family day out where you will be guaranteed plenty of motorsport action.
