Forestry Championship Open Day 26th July 09

The Irish National Petro Systems Forestry Championship committee have organized a forestry championship open day which will take place on Sunday 26th July at the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh, Co Tipperary. The day will begin at 1pm with a display of cars currently competing in forestry rallies giving people the chance to see these cars up close and also giving the chance for competitors who normally compete on Tarmac rallies and who are interested in competing in the National Forestry Championship to see the different modifications and set up of these cars.

At 2pm one of Irelands top co drivers Greg Shinnors who is currently the leading co driver in the British National Championship and former Irish National Forestry Championship winning co driver will give a demonstration on the safety notes DVD which is available on all rounds of the Petro Systems Forestry Championship. This will be of particular use to rally crews who will pick up some valuable tips from Greg on how to make the most of the DVD and also give an insight to the public on how pace notes work.

The day will finish off with an open forum at 3pm for those who have anymore questions on the Petro Systems National Forestry Championship.
