Midland Motor Club hosted a round of the Hewison National autotest championship in Longford on Sunday last 21st January. The event attracted an entry of 27 competitors from all corners of the country including current national champion Eddie Peterson from Dublin. First and second place was eventually decided on the final test with Eddie Peterson coming out on top by the slimmest of margins from JJ Farrell in second with Sam Johnston from Longford finishing in 3rd place

Midland Motor Club are hosting the 1st Round of the Hewison National Autotest Championship on Sunday 21st January. This a new venue at Cartronageeragh Business Park, Athlone Road, Longford beside Tom McNally (Toyota) Motors.
