Niall McShea Wins Production World Rally Championship

Niall McShea with Co-driver Michael Orr won the 2004 Production World Rally Championship after finishing 2nd PWRC car in Australia.

With one of the smaller budgets in the FIA Production World Rally Championship and a season fraught with uncertainty, Niall McShea was also awarded the Inmarsat Star of the Rally.

McShea ran with ‘supported by Irish Rally Drivers’ on his Subaru in Australia after many of the top Irish drivers and preparation companies donated £ 1000 a piece to enable the Fermanagh man take part in the final WRC round.
