Up and coming 17 year old talent Owen Murphy beat all his opposition to win the Tipperary Autocross at Rosegreen Raceway, near Cashel, with his VW Polo beating the Toyota Special of David Forde into second place, giving the teenager a tremendous overall win as well as the junior award.
