Liam Cashman and Brendan Farmer in a Mini Saloon had a troubled day to give John Lyons the class win in a 1000 cc car. The Mini Specials mixed, muddled and incurred fails allowing class newcomer Victor Beamish to take the spoils. A fine drive by Peter Desmond saw the ever improving Westfield third overall and best RWD, Mike Mulcahy taking 1300cc saloon honours with Mike Cashman in his Nova large class winner and second overall. No Mini's in the top three, again! Some sense was restored in the 11 car novice class with Stephen Clarke ahead in the family Mini Special.Newcomer Nikki Cummins impressive in a Mini Saloon; but how many cars has Jimmy O'Sullivan got? he's used five so far this year!
